The 2025 World Taekwondo Hanmadang will be held Thursday July 17th – Saturday July 19th, 2025.

Kukkiwon (the World Taekwondo Headquarters) created the World Taekwondo Hanmadang in 1992 to provide students of all ages and athletic abilities the opportunity to compete on an international level. Due to COVID19, several World Taekwondo Hanmadangs were cancelled.

2025 is the 30-year anniversary of the World Taekwondo Hanmadang. In an effort to globalize the Hanmadang style tournament, Kukkiwon chose Anaheim, California (USA) to host this year’s 2025 World Taekwondo Hanmadang.

With a unique blend of world class beaches, shopping, and theme parks, Anaheim offers something for everyone. A global hub to gather, connect, compete, and celebrate.

We are excited to present this year’s official World Taekwondo Hanmadang logo — in honor of its 30-year anniversary.

The multi-colored figures represent the unifying elements of Taekwondo, bringing in together people of every age, race, athletic ability, and gender.
